It is widely believed that air travelling ought to be cheap, contributing a more chance for ordinary people to travel overseas while a group of people think that it can give a rise to environmental issues, Therefore, travelling via air should be more costly to reduce its negative implications for the environment. It is undeniable fact that travelling can lead to serious damages for the nature, but it seems to me, people with low-income have the right to travel abroad to take a short break from their daily life.
On the one hand, there is a widespread belief among society that having considered that tourism can have several detrimental effects for the environment to some extent, leading to severe issues for the host country, some people have a strong notion that air travelling should be more expensive to reduce the number of toursits visiting foriegn countries. To clarifty, in most cases, tourists are less likely to pay attention to conserve the nature around them, throwing away their trash everywhere, which can result in waste pollution. Moreover, air pollution can be largely attributed by travelling by plane. The amount of hazardous gases emitted by plane is far more than that of other transport means, deteriorating significantly the quality of the air.
On the other hand, if the cost of air travelling are affordable, it would be great opportunity for those with shortage of funds to travel overseas. There are a great deal of people who live paycheck to paycheck, they never even dream about travelling another country to have a pleasure due to the huge costs of air travelling. As a result, they cannot travel anywhere to unwind. Having said that this phenomenon can impact for their general emotional well-being. H the cost of travelling by air should be reduced to some respects.
In conclusion, it is the fact that air travelling can lead to certain environmental issues, in terms of access for ordinary people, it should be affordable in some cases.
