The pie charts illustrate the percentage of users from five different age groups using three applications (Twitter, Facebook and YouTube).

Overall, it is clear that the 18–34 and 35–49 age groups accounted for the highest percentages across all three applications, whereas people aged over 65 recorded the lowest figures. While Twitter was particularly popular among users aged 18–34, Facebook and YouTube showed relatively similar proportions among the two middle age groups.

Regarding the highest percentages, users aged between 18 and 34 exhibited remarkably higher figures of 29% on Facebook, slightly lower at 26% on YouTube, and 40% on Twitter, which varied moderately compared to the 35–49 age group, recording 30% on Facebook and 29% for both YouTube and Twitter.

As for the lower figures, the 65+ age group showed the lowest proportions. For Facebook, the figure stood at 8%, while the percentage of users on YouTube was slightly higher at 10%, which was in stark contrast to 4% for Twitter. Conversely, the 10–17 and 50–64 age groups recorded more pronounced figures of 19% and 14% for Facebook and slightly higher percentages of 20% and 15% for YouTube, whereas for Twitter these figures were notably lower at 18% and 9% respectively.

To reach Band 9, the response could integrate the comparison between apps more fluidly rather than listing data points for each age group.
