The two graphs illustrate the number of visits from France and North America to the UK for holiday and business purposes. Overall, the number of visitors for holidays exhibited a marginal increase from both France and North America. Notably, for business purposes, the number of visitors from both nations rose significantly.

Focusing on the trips for holiday purposes, both the French and Americans started at about 700,000 in January, and in March, they both reached 1 million. By April, the gap between the two countries widened because the number of visitors from North America increased dramatically, whereas the figure for France rose only slightly. Between July and September, the number of visitors from both countries increased by 0.75 million and reached their zenith at 3 million and 1.5 million (North America and France, respectively). After reaching a peak, there was a dramatic decline to approximately 1 million in October to December. In December, they were the same as in January.

The number of visitors travelling for business, on the other hand, from the two countries exhibited similar trends. In January, the number of French visitors was even under 0.1 million, whereas the figure for North America was slightly higher than 0,1 million. Between March and April, the number of visitors saw a significant increase of 0.15 million for both of them. Between April and June, the number of French visitors was 0,2 million, significantly lower than North America (0.3 million). After declining between July and September, the figures recovered to their April levels. In December, while the number of French business visitors decreased, the figure for North America continued to rise
